Die von Temperatur oder Druck verursachte Ausdehnung bzw. Zusammenziehen soll berücksichtigt werden bei der Berechnung von Prozesswerten wie Gasfluss oder Schallgeschwindigkeit.
Für die Korrektur soll Druck- und Temperaturdaten von Sensoren verwendet werden.
