Das RSM600-COM-Options-PCB wird auf Steckplatz 3 des RSM600-Basisboards gesteckt. Es realisiert Interfaces, welche auf dem RSM600-CPU-Board aus Platzgründen nicht umgesetzt werden können bzw. welche in unterschiedlichen Varianten angeboten werden sollen.
Varianten des RSM600-COM-Options Board
- Variante 1: Interface zum WLAN-Modul, COM2 (RS485) und LAN2 (Ethernet)
- Variante 2: Interface zum WLAN-Modul, COM2 (RS485) und LAN2 (VDSL)
- Variante 3: Interface zum WLAN-Modul, COM2 (RS485) und LAN2 (Ethernet-APL)
Funktionen des RSM600-COM-Options Boards (Variante 1)
- COM2 (RS485) Interface mit galvanischer Trennung. Ansteuerung durch UART-Schnittstelle und Steuerleitung über das RSM600-Basisboard.
- LAN2 (Ethernet) Interface mit galvanischer Trennung. Ansteuerung als USB-Interface über das RSM600-Basisboard mit USB-Hub/Switch und USB zu LAN-Umsetzer.
- USB-C Interface Connector für mögliche Erweiterungen. Ansteuerung über das RSM600-Basisboard und USB-Hub/Switch.
- das WLAN-Modul kann intern als Löt- oder Steckmodul auf dem RSM600-COM-Options Board oder extern als USB-Modul am USB-C Anschluss realisiert werden. Das WLAN-Modul soll eine extern am Gehäuse angebrachte Antenne nutzen.
